BA 80K Mixing Paddle

The BA80K mixing paddle is perfect for anyone who needs a small mixing paddle for small amounts of thin liquid mixtures where our BA60R and BA70K mixing paddles are insufficient. The mixing paddle is developed to be a good middle ground in terms of the size and consistency of the mixture, as the volume sits between our smallest mixing paddles and BA100K, the big brother in the TWIN collection.

The BA80K has a hexagonal axle, making it great for mounting in a drill with a drill chuck. This makes the mixing paddle a good fit for small and quick mixtures, as you cannot maintain the same ergonomic working posture as you can with a stirrer.

Amongst other things, the mixing paddle owes its versatility to its slightly bigger mixing head with two twisted, downstream mixing blades, which allows you to mix thicker materials than you can with our BA60R and BA70K – for example, a thick glue or paint that needs to be activated to improve the coverage and efficiency. The mixing paddle is also great for mixing materials such as lacquer, sealant, plaster, resin, and ceramic glaze.

We recommend using a BA80K for mixtures from 5-10 kg, and if you want to mix a bigger volume, you can use the identical but slightly larger BA100K mixing paddle, which we recommend for mixtures from 10-20 kg. With their hexagonal axles, both mixing paddles are made to be mounted on a drill.

In other words, the BA80K mixing paddle is perfect for anyone who wants to up the mixing volume from our smallest mixing paddle but still wants a mixing paddle for smaller quantities of thin liquids.
