SA 120 Mixing Paddle

If you need specialised mixing paddles developed for use with specific materials, our EXPERT collection is perfect for you. The SA120 mixing paddle is part of this collection and is intended to mix extra thick materials, such as concrete and expanding concrete. The design offers unique properties that make this an effective mixing paddle that allows for a more ergonomic working posture.

How is the design of the SA120 mixing paddle ergonomic and effective?

The design of the SA120 mixing paddle is ergonomic because it is designed to reach the edges of a mixing bucket while allowing you to maintain an upright working posture. This effect is achieved thanks to the conical design of the mixing head, where the top is slightly wider than the base, making the mixing paddle the perfect fit for the slanted sides of a mixing bucket. With its height of 655 mm, the mixing paddle also contributes to a more upright and, thus, improved working posture.

On top of these ergonomic properties that allow for a better working posture that is easier on your back, the SA120 mixing paddle is also more efficient than traditional mixing paddles, which do not feature a conical design. This makes the mixing paddle—which has an estimated mixing capacity of 15-25 kg—15-20% faster than its traditional counterparts, and it makes keeping the materials in the bucket easier, which makes subsequent clean-up even simpler. All the mixing paddles in the EXPERT and SCREW collections feature this conical design.

What makes the SA120 mixing paddle suitable for thick materials?

Due to the construction of the mixing head, the SA120 mixing paddle is specialised in thick and heavy materials such as concrete and expanding concrete. The mixing head features three blades angled upwards, which are more vertical than the equivalent blades on our all-round mixing paddles. These three blades and their angling enable the effective mixing of thick materials. The mixing paddle is twisted right and mixing paddles the material from the bottom and upwards, which is ideal for heavy materials. If you want to mix thinner materials, it can be difficult to keep the mixture in the bucket—for these tasks, we recommend the downstream SA120NEG. mixing paddle. If you want an overview of our mixing paddles, you can check out our mixing paddle wheel for more information.

WHEN TO CHOOSE A MIXING PADDLE FROM THE SA SERIES

Mixing paddles from the SA series are available in two versions twisted clockwise and anticlockwise:

SA 120 Negative is twisted anticlockwise. Consequently it will press the material downwards. It is most suitable for low viscous products like self levelling renders.

SA 120 Positive is twisted clockwise like the GA series but has three blades. It is most suitable for heavy and viscous materials like concrete and expanding concrete.

SA120 has a diameter on 130 mm in the top and 110 mm in the bottom
