What should you mix in a forced action mixer, a tumble mixer and with an electric mixer

Do you ever wonder which machinery is the best choice for different materials? A forced action mixer, a tumble mixer or just an electric mixer?

It's a mixing jungle out there!

SoRoTo® sell all three kinds of mixers. We sell both forced action mixers, tumble mixers and electric mixers. And of course there's logic behind: the three mixer types are great for  different purposes.

At SoRoTo®, we want you to have the absolute best experience and result using your machinery. This is why we've made a table to help you get an overview: how to choose the right mixer.

The electric mixer is great for smaller quantities. It can mix thick-flowing products using the right whisk, but it is much easier to mix the more thin-flowing products if you use the partly manual electric mixer.

The tumble mixer (or just concrete mixer if you will) mixes with a little help from gravity. It mixes much slower than a forced action mixer, but is quite good for products such as raw concrete for foundations or supported concrete decks, where all the molecules in the mix do not need to be activated, and the mix doesn't have to be completely homogenous.

The forced action mixer can mix everything the other mixers can - and more - faster and you won't even break a sweat. It mixes a homogenous mix, and is recommended for mixing materials for housing and the like.

Remember: Use mixing blades with rubber when mixing products containing aggregates of over 8 mm.

In the table beneath we have added an X underneath the machines that are recommended for mixing the different materials. Download or print the table in order to have it in hand anytime.
