Make the perfect mix with SoRoTo mixing paddles

High-quality construction work starts with mixing your material properly. To get the best possible results, you’ll need to use the right tool for your material. SoRoTo offers a broad range of mixing paddles, so you can quickly and easily adapt the mixing paddle on your electric mixer to suit whatever material you’re working with, from concrete to paint.

Since 2005, our mixing paddles have helped make masons’ jobs easier and more efficient. To make sure you find the perfect match, we offer five unique paddle designs, all of which guarantee both ease of use and high performance.

1. The Flow

Our Flow collection is designed for mixing small amounts of a thin material, such as paint. The propeller-shaped blades mix efficiently, and because they’re pointed at a downstream angle, the material won’t fly out of the mixing bucket, avoiding waste. Flow mixing paddles can easily be used with our 850W electric mixer, as the electric mixer is a perfect substitute to a drill machine to increase ergonomics.

2. Turbo Flow

The Turbo Flow mixing paddles work like a supercharged version of the Flow collection. With six blades, they can mix rapidly and powerfully, saving you valuable time. Like the Flow paddles, the blades are pointed downstream, which draws the material downwards - great for mixing two kinds of paint together.

3. Twin

The Twin mixing paddles are made up of two interlinked blades pointed at an upstream angle, and are ideal for thin materials with a slightly thicker consistency. We’ve designed these paddles to work better than the Flow and Turbo Flow collections for larger volumes of material. Our 1220W Electric Mixer is a fine fit for the mixing volume and material often used with Twin mixing paddles.

4. Expert

There are two paddles in the Expert collection (SA120 and SA120 negative), which are each designed for mixing either thick or thin material. Be aware to choose the desired positive or negative mixing paddle, as their unique designs are like Yin-Yang. Both of these paddles are able to handle a large volume of material. Their conical shape means they can easily scrape off any material that sticks to the side of the bucket, boosting efficiency by 15-20%.

This design is also more ergonomic for masons to use than traditional mixing paddles (due to the conical shape), as you can maintain an upright posture and won’t have to twist around to get to those hard-to-reach areas of the bucket (as the conical shape follows the buckets edges). This reduces back strain and the risk of injury. Expert mixing paddles are often combined with our 1300W Electric mixer as the volume and materials are fit for the stronger motor.

5. Screw

The Screw mixing paddles benefit from the same intelligent conical design as the Expert collection, so you can work more quickly and comfortably.

Where the Screw collection differs is that the paddles are a Jack-of-all-trades, able to take on a wide range of tasks and both thick and thin materials. However, we find best results when using the Screw paddles with thick materials like tile adhesive, plaster, and mortar, because of the upstream-tilted mixing head. Our Screw mixing paddles are often used in combination with our H-Buckets as the material is then mixed in the bucket ready for masoning and the strength of the buckets material avoids breakage of the bucket.

Spin the wheel - find the right paddle for your next job

Whatever task you face next, you’ll find the right tool in our diverse range of mixing paddles. We have designed a wheel as a guidance to help find the perfect mixing paddle. Start from the inside of the mixing wheel to define if your material is Runny, Liquid or Compact, then work your way through the different materials.

They’ll quickly mix your material to perfection, so you can get the job done faster. And, if you use our paddles with a SoRoTo electric mixer, you’ll find that mixing has never been more effortless or efficient.

Which material volume are you mixing?

Each series of mixing paddles mostly have more sizes of the mixing paddle to fit the volume you expect to mix. From below table you will be able to see the estimated volume of each mixing paddle:

Flow series – mixing volume from 0-15 Kg.
Turbo Flow series – mixing volume from 10-15 Kg.
Twin series – mixing volume from 5-25 Kg.
Expert series – mixing volume from 15-25 Kg.
Screw series – mixing volume from 5-35 Kg.
